PET Preforms are manufactured using a process called Injection Molding. At Partex Plastics this is done by injection machines from Germany - Krupp Corpoplast, SIG Corpoplast and Krauss Maffei. The resin used to make these performs are imported from Coke or Pepsi approved resin manufacturers only.
Once these preforms are made they can be blown into bottles. This process involves the Preforms to be heated below 90°C using infrared heater. Through the use of a blow mould that is rotating and under extreme high pressure (about 40 bar) the Preforms are transformed into PET bottles of specific size, shape and dimension. If required, approved master batch colorant is added to produce different colors of PET bottles. Why PET? The increased popularity of PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) containers by consumers has called for design innovations by the industry.
